Background

 

After working for a specialist ornamental fish supplier in the 1980's, Ryan started his business career with Toyota in sales and then returned to University to study Business. Here, he started his first company, Forbidden Fruit Productions to stage Dance Music events during the 90's club scene.

 

Following graduation, Ryan joined Coca Cola in Customer Service and then became a consultant working on Quality, Safety and Environmental Assurance. Ryan helped Coca Cola become one of the first UK companies to achieve the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard.

 

He was then head hunted by a small management consultancy and worked in the financial sector with large corporate clients. Following this he joined Getty Images in 2000 to manage the work of some of the world's greatest photographers.

Then wanting to utilise his people development and training skills further, Ryan joined Wella UK. There he spent 6 years as a business coach to some of the Industries major players.

 

Ryan is Managing Director for Umbrella & Business Development Manager for Nexus Revolution in the UK.

 

As an active member of Business Link, Ryan regularly attends networking events. Umbrella is also an approved Business Link provider in London and the East Midlands and an NLP Practitioner for NLP Excellence.
